City of Oakland posted and updated 600 plus pages of documents related to 2016 Oakland Ghost Ship Warehouse fire. The fire was on Dec 2nd, 2016 at 1315 31st Ave and resulted in los of 36 lives.
There are several resources on the official page including contacts, phone numbers, community resources and much needed public information. While the investigation is still ongoing the Alameda county has not released many documents requrested by media, legal teams/attorneys and victims families.

The Ghost Ship did not have permits for either residences or special events at the time of the fire, and no business was registered there. Nonetheless, in November 2013, Almena and his wife, Micah Allison, leased the warehouse, paying $4,500 a month, and subleased space to as many as 20 residents at a time who typically paid $565 a month. Almena has said he is not responsible for the tragedy. The warehouse owner’s daughter, Eva Ng, has said the family leased out the building as an art space and did not know it was being used for residences or events.
